An Off-Road Vehicle
Besides, its CVT has improved in its behavior, but in our opinion, it still pays more duty than the automatics, with torque or double-clutch converter, of the competition. RAV4 all-wheel drive is ready and easy even in light off-road conditions, thanks also to the limited slip differential. Aesthetically pleasing and truly luminous, while the passenger compartment is generally well finished, yet it slips on some details. Space, however, is not lacking: the front seats - electrically adjustable are wide and well-shaped, and on the sofa, you can also travel in three without too many sacrifices. The availability of storage space is sufficient, but none is refrigerated. The trunk is flawed in its finishes, but it is easily accessible and exploitable and, above all, it boasts a class-leading capacity. Thanks to the trunk door that opens horizontally, the Toyota Rav4 looks like a great off-road vehicle. The spare wheel attached to the trunk door also helps to have this style.Â
An Aesthetically Beautiful Vehicle
This vehicle offers lots of stuff with wonderful style. Besides, because of the weight of the spare wheel, the hinges suffer. Furthermore, this spare wheel on the boot door is also a source of annoying noises, especially on poor roads. The machine is aesthetically beautiful, especially in the more equipped versions. But you can always improve and personalize. The interior spaces are large and the trunk is much larger than the predecessor. The suspensions are well regulated and thanks to this the driving comfort is quite good. Even during longer journeys, you don't get very tired. The manual transmission is not as reliable as one might expect. Some owners complain about the shift lever joints in the first gear position. The gear can only be disengaged by pressing the clutch twice. Also, some say they hear a slight noise when the first and second gears are inserted.
