Scania 420 hpi For Sale From UK At Reasonable Price

Do You Know What is Torque Converter? if you are Interested in Scania 420 hpi For Sale

In order for the transmission of the pair to be continuous, the fluid could not be left free to move only in one direction (from the pump to the turbine), but it must necessarily be able to return to the pump in order to create a cycle that would allow the continuity of the Torque converter propulsive force ; and it is here that the real problem of the  simple  hydraulic coupling is born. And that process should be the part of Scania 420 hpi for sale.

The Hydraulic Couple

A hydraulic coupling can correctly transmit the driving force, the pump and turbine compartments must have opposite curvatures (or, the turbine must be the same as the pump but mounted backward). Because of this constructive requirement, just as the fluid leaving  hybrid-automatic-transmission, the pump was pushed against the turbine in the opposite direction to that of rotation of the turbine, the fluid leaving the turbine was pushed against the pump in the opposite direction to that of rotation of the pump. The result is that not only part of the power produced by the engine was used to pump the fluid from the pump to the turbine, but another part of the power was also dispersed to overcome the force of the fluid that returned from the turbine to the pump: as directed consequently, the acceleration capacity was considerably compromised, excess heat was produced, the system saw an increase in vibrations and the drop in efficiency had a negative effect on fuel consumption .

The Torque Converter

The torque converter, in the beginning, is a particular application of the hydraulic coupling. The torque converter contains within the hydraulic chamber ( at least ) an additional element called stator or reactor, whose task is to change the direction of the flow of liquid coming from the turbine before it returns to the pump compartments; it is installed exactly in the space between the pump and the turbine and is mounted on the so-called reaction shaft, a shaft that is integral with the gearshift bell (to the bell, not to the transmission input shaft ). So, the stator, as the name implies, is born to stay where it does not rotate following the flow of oil coming from the turbine: the stator compartments thus receive the fluid leaving the turbine and redirect it so that it hits the impeller blades in the opposite direction, eliminating interference. If a used vehicle buyer or owner want to deal for a reasonable Scania 420 hpi price, he should head the discussed notion because auto awareness leads to better solutions.

Additional Drive Force

But there's additional; to reverse the sense of flow, not only does the system stop being disadvantageous. It also becomes advantageous, since now the fluid impacts against the pump compartments in its same direction of rotation, offering an additional thrust to the impeller. And it is this additional driving force that has the advantage that characterizes the torque converter and that makes it advantageous in the initial starting phase. Besides, use a freewheel is a useful option that is capable of rotating the reactor only and only in one direction. In this way, when the pump speed is higher than that of the turbine in  acceleration phase, the stator locks in a fixed position, producing the multiplying effect of the torque and preventing the flow from slowing down the impeller; when instead the speed of the pump and that of the turbine are the same and the multiplication effect of the torque (coupling phase) is no longer necessary, the stator will turn to avoid to obstruct the flow of fluid.
