One of the important components of the engine, but often ignored by most, is the so-called countershaft. The countershaft in BMW x1 2.0 for sale, also known as a balancing shaft, is a part of the engine necessary for reducing the vibrations of the engine itself. Like the gearbox, the countershaft is soaked in oil, and therefore inside the crankcase, and to prevent the energy from dispersing, it is essential to cover it with a cylinder that closes the ends. In this way, the oil remains outside the coating and will not interfere with its rotation and therefore with its function of eliminating engine vibrations. To Direct The Distributions
The presence of a counter-rotating shaft is typical of quad-cylinder engines mounted in upper-class cars. The system, also called dynamic balancer, is activated thanks to gears and toothed belts, as mentioned above. In particular, toothed belts play a fundamental role: they start the movement of a driving shaft which also affects the others, so they are useful for directing the distribution. These components work silently, without lubrication, i.e. without oil or grease, and do not even need a periodic voltage check. The dynamic balancer is also present in two-cylinder engines to eliminate any type of vibration and is installed in the special housings located on opposite sides of the base. This is the load-bearing structure of the engine which is closed in the upper part by the head and in the lower part by the oil sump.
