Toyota updates the Hilux pick-up with the renewed 2.5 D4D engine in the 2WD and 4WD versions. The 4-cylinder gains 24 hp, touching 144 hp and 343 Nm of torque at 1600 rpm., equal to 7.4 l/100 km for the 2-wheel drive and 8.3/100km for the 4WD, with emissions equal to respectively 197 and 219 g / km of CO2.
Toyota Hilux Continues the Work of Updating
Performance has improved significantly: with the speedy manual transmission provided, the Hilux 2.5 D4D reaches 170 km/h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 13.5 seconds (2WD) or 15 seconds (4WD)). In the range, the Hilux is available with single Cab bodywork and rear-wheel drive, while the 4WD can be ordered in the Single Cab and Double Cab versions. The most powerful Hilux 3.0 D4D 171Cv is available, also available with the speedy automatic transmission. Toyota Hilux continues the work of updating and now completed by the adoption of a new engine combined with all-wheel drive. The 2.5-liter D-4D turbodiesel makes its debut on the well-known Japanese off-road with a body, in the 4x4 version only. Compared to the previous diesel unit of the same displacement, the new engine boasts an increase in power of 24 hp, reaching 144 hp; the maximum torque gains 18 Nm and scores a peak of 343 Nm at 1600 gri/min.
For Better Performance and Efficient Fuel Usage
Behind the expansion, the operation is the use of a variable geometry turbocharger driven by a direct current electric motor and the use of more precise injectors in their operation, thanks to the technology of third generation solenoids. Hilux is available in various versions, each of which includes specific standard or on-demand equipment. At the base, there is the Hilux 2.5 D-4D Single Cab in a single version, called DLX, which includes as standard electric front windows, central locking, ABS and front airbags, but not the manual air conditioning, which is on request.
Loaded With Plethora of Useful Stuff
